Formerly USS Kirk (FF-1087) Knox-class Destroyer Escort Watercolor Print by Adam Koltz. Giclee on N.O.A.A.. Nautical Chart off the coast of Taiwan. Decommissioned on August 6, 1993, the USS KIRK was leased to Taiwan, and recommissioned as FEN YANG. The KIRK was stricken from the Navy list on January 11, 1995, and was finally purchased by Taiwan on September 29, 1999.
